Ease into Yoga November 2008 E-Mag

Nov 2008

with love and blessings from Maggie

Dear Yogis,

Wow! It is a tumultuous time is it not?

We are truly in the era of Great Changes. Anything can happen at any time. What does a yogi do?
As yogis, we become EdgeWalkers, accessing our deepest courage and willingness to let go the old and explore the unknown beyond the edge. We release attachment and embrace the magic of our True Nature. This is what we do in challenging yoga
poses on the mat, explore the edge. Now we have the opportunity to practice it, moment to moment.

While the emotional tide in our country runs high in the days leading up to the Presidential Election, the yogi continuously aligns with Divine Source and expresses the power of Surrender and Trust. It is important that we do not get lost in fear, despair, depression or hopelessness. It is so important for
us to remain inspired and hopeful as old
structures disintegrate.

Keep your vibration high!

With love from my ever-opening heart!

Maggie

Why the Sheepish Grin, Mags?

This is me on 9/11/2008 with my certificate of US citizenship and my own little flag!  I am thrilled to have them, after so many years of working on this status.  I feel silly though, swearing allegiance to a flag!  This allegiance is said daily by so many Americans in the most heartfelt manner.  One Nation under God. Yes, but we are Many Nations under God.

I am very aware that I am a citizen, not only of this country, but of the entire globe. We are One world,One earth, a global family of many cultures, colors and customs. That is the bigger family to
which we all belong.

I am privileged to be voting for the first time on November 4th.  I do so  with a hopeful heart for the candidate that will return that vision of a global community on this planet earth.  Diversity and Connection.

I honor the place in you

In which the entire Universe Dwells.

I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Truth, of Light and of Peace.

When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me,

We are One.

Namaste and Love!

Many people have never heard of this country, which is snuggled in the Himalayas between China, India, near Tibet and Nepal. This may be the last country on earth that remains untouched by the madness of war, starvation and greed.

Would it not be wonderful to visit there?

This includes all land costs of accommodation, meals, guides, local transport. Not included are alcoholic drinks, visa fee of $20, international air fares.  Airfares: Lax to BKK plus $795 for Druk Air.

I want to come to Bhutan
